October sets off the short rainy season that is characterised with unpredictable weather patterns of rains folded under the shoulder season for gorilla trekking in both Rwanda the country of rolling hills and Uganda the pearl of Africa. Note that most of the remote areas may lack bureaus or banks , before setting off make sure to do any money transactions in urban centers and only use trusted sources such as banks or hotels but for the hotels the fee deducted for the transactions may be high. Choosing to visit during October puts you at an advantage of not struggling for the permits as it is in the peak season and also the prices at different accommodations are put at a discount.
