Gorilla trekking is always the walk of the day in the jungles like Bwindi impenetrable , Mgahinga , Volcanoes and Virunga with trekkers waking up very early in the morning so that to catch up with the gorillas who wake up early to handle their daily activities and save enough time for resting. Many of these species live in families headed by a male gorilla, a picture that shows that these species are indeed our cousins possessing 98% of our DNA and clocking back to their natural habitants you will be mesmerised with the natural beauty that covers the entire place holding secrets beyond human understandings that is to say many local people claimed that their gods resided in these forests thus going to a larger extent of worshiping trees and despite the fact that they used some trees to extract medicine , acquire firewood and fruits these species never touched some trees they considered sacred. Beyond the myths these forests host countless numbers of birds including migratory birds who visit for a while and later return back to their home countries ,  there are also reptiles who take shelter beneath and on the trees , they are followed by mammals to mention  but a few.

Some visitors ask where they can trek from , trekking is done in Bwindi impenetrable national park which serves as Uganda’s gorilla destination housing over 500 mountain gorillas who live in 37 different social groups and the park authorities have so far habituated eleven gorilla families specifically for tourism activities . These families can be evidenced by following different trailheads such as Buhoma , Ruhija , Rushaga and Nkuringo each offering unique experiences but however  Bwindi’s terrain present a lot of challengers for trekkers especially for the first time trekkers making them to quit the trek or simply slow down the journey. In Virunga National in Democratic of Congo one has to be physically fit to challenge the hindrances along the way but nevertheless a persistent trekker takes the trophy by visiting the homes of these species.Mgahinga  National park on another hand is a small park trekked within few minutes because it is not as complicated as Bwindi and the issues of some tourists missing out permits is less as few tourists opt for Bwindi than Mgahinga national park.The volcanoes dazzles from Rwanda as well hosting the gorillas , birds , reptiles to mention but a few giving you a dream come true experience.
