2 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari in Volcanoes National Park

Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park Musanze

After breakfast at your hotel in Kigali or rather shortly after your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our travel guide to start the trip.

Depending on your pickup time, you can choose to carry out a city tour around Kigali before you drive to Volcanoes National Park. When you reach Volcanoes National Park in Musanze, you will check in to your lodge and relax as you prepare for your gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in PNV & Departure

Have breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters in Kinigi for briefing before making your way onto the mountains to search for your particular gorilla family. Trekking gorillas in Rwanda lasts between 2 hours to 8 hours depending on the mobility of gorillas and how long you take to find them. This time includes a full hour around these primates.

After meeting gorillas, you will return to your starting point, pick your respective gorilla trekking certificates and begin your drive back to Kigali where you will be dropped at your preferred destination or straight at the airport to catch up with your departure flight.
