This briefing starts at exactly 7:00am hence, you have to be there at least 30 minutes prior. The starting point for Munt Bisoke hiking adventures is from the Rwanda Development Board offices in Kinigi.

At the office, you will find several other people lined up for several activities. After briefing, your tour guide will drive you to the exact starting point of the trek, which is about 25 minutes away. From here you will join a group of hikers and commence your trek.

Hiking Bisoke is an all-day experience and takes about 6 hours in total to ascend and descend the mountain. On top of the mountain is a beautiful crater. After descending the mountain, you will meet up with your guide and transfer to Kigali to mark the end of your 2 days Mount Bisoke hike.
